Our Services

Our Comprehensive Services Overview

  • End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD)

End-stage renal disease is the final stage of chronic kidney disease, where kidneys can no longer function adequately. Patients often require dialysis or kidney transplantation for survival.

  • Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)

Chronic kidney disease is a gradual loss of kidney function over time. It can result from various conditions, including diabetes and hypertension, and can lead to kidney failure if not managed properly.

  • Dialysis-related Conditions

Patients undergoing dialysis may experience various complications, such as hypotension, infections, and bone mineral disorders. Regular monitoring and management are essential for these patients.

  • Kidney Transplantation

Kidney transplantation is a surgical procedure to replace a diseased kidney with a healthy one from a donor. It can significantly improve quality of life and kidney function for eligible patients.

Testimonails

I was most pleased to meet my new nephrologist, Dr. J. Thomas. He answered all my questions and concerns. He prescribed alternative Rxs and provided extensive reference literature Re potassium and foods. My PCP (A, Celerian) has since agreed with his recommended changes. Dr. Thomas also advised me on relaxing my attitude about diet and opined that a glass or two of wine daily would not be detrimental - much to my liking.

This was my first virtual visit with a doctor, and it went very well. I liked not having to drive the half hour to see him (in the snow, as it turned out), and since this was a discussion and not an exam, an in-person visit was not necessary.
Norman N.
Kind, understanding, includes me in important decisions - always makes sure I am totally informed about every aspect of my kidney disease and possible treatments
Whidbey I.

I had a great experience with Dr. Jimmy Thomas. He explained to me everything I needed to know regarding my kidney condition. He is so accommodating.

Dr. Kuriakose is an exceptional doctor. It is directly because of his guidance that I was able to get a kidney transplant and be completely healthy post three years. There are a small number of doctors that truly practice medicine the way Dr. Kuriakose does, with care, intelligence and an open mind about what is best for the patient. He always listened and I owe my second chance in life partially to him. Anyone who is under the care of this doctor, will truly be in great hands.
Justin G.
Dr. Kuriakose was my physician for almost 10 years, in that time he supported me medically and emotionally through the progression of my kidney disease, through dialysis, until I finally received a transplant. He always took the time to answer any questions or concerns I had and genuinely cared about me and always asked about my family. At the conclusion of our appointments we would share stories and pictures of our kids. Dr. Kuriakose was my doctor but I also considered him my friend, I've never had that in a physician before. Dr. Kuriakose’s nursing and office staff are also exceptional. He ALWAYS treated me with kindness and respect.
Latangela G.
I have been a patient of Dr. Kuriakose for several years. He has been a wonderful doctor and very kind and empathetic. I continue to see him even though I live 2 hrs. away from his office because he is very knowledgeable and supportive of me in my care since my kidney transplant.
Was referred to Dr. Kuriakose by a friend who goes to him. I needed a second opinion about my kidney problem. He was excellent, reviewed my medical history with me, and offered me alternatives that worked for me as compared to my previous kidney doctor. I'm glad I was able to see him, he also has great bedside manner. He explained everything to me in terms I could understand and listened to all my concerns.
Dr. Kuriakose is truly a God send. He genuinely cares about his patients. Being out of town, It's comforting to know that my father is in good medical hands. What really stands out is that Dr. Kuriakose treats you like an individual PERSON no matter what age by listening and treating with a good balance between what the patient wants and what the patient needs.
Dr. Kuriakose is the best nephrologist I've ever seen, and I've seen my fair share of nephrologists having had kidney disease for over 10 years. He genuinely cares about his patients and has the best bedside manner I've ever seen! He has taken care of me since my kidney transplant which has changed my life, he always takes time to answer all my questions and explain things to me in a way I can understand. The BEST!!!
