  • Jimmy Thomas

    MD

    Dr. Thomas is a board-certified nephrologist who trained at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Washington.

    Dr. Thomas prioritizes building strong, trusting relationships with his patients and collaborates closely with top sub-specialists to ensure that his patients receive the best care possible. As misconceptions about kidney disease are common, he believes in empowering patients to fully understand their disease process, helping them avoid unnecessary anxiety from misinformation online or from others.

    With a special interest in leveraging technology to address healthcare disparities, he is committed to providing equitable and compassionate care for underserved communities.

    Dr. Thomas’ expertise includes acute kidney injury, glomerulonephritis, kidney stones, electrolyte/acid-base disorders, chronic kidney disease and renal replacement therapies for end-stage renal disease.

  • Cyril Kuriakose

    MD, FASN

    Dr. Kuriakose is a board-certified nephrologist who completed his general nephrology fellowship at Boston University and further specialized by completing a transplant nephrology fellowship at the University of Washington.

    He has been in practice since 2013, and previously served as the section chief and medical director of the kidney transplant program at AdventHealth Orlando, having led one of the largest nephrology divisions in the country before relocating back to the Pacific Northwest in 2023.

    Dr. Kuriakose’s expertise spans acute and chronic kidney disease, dialysis modalities, hypertension and all aspects of renal and pancreas transplantation. He believes strongly in a collaborative and educational approach to patient care, ultimately empowering patients to make the best possible decisions regarding their health.

    Outside of medicine, Dr. Kuriakose enjoys spending time exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with his wife and two sons.
